Youri Baas played a major role in Saturday’s 3-3 draw between Sparta and Ajax. The defender was instrumental in the opening goal with a pre-assist for 0-1, but a few minutes later turned into the unlucky culprit after conceding a penalty for handball in his own box. “Very unfortunate.”

Ajax announced that the club recorded a net loss of 37.3 million euros for the 2024/2025 financial year.
