Ajax won for the sixth time in a row in the Eredivisie on Saturday evening. Alfred Schreuder's team was too strong for sc Heerenveen 5-0. Dusan Tadic (three assists) and Mohammed Kudus (two goals) were the stars of the evening in the Johan Cruijff ArenA.
Florian Grillitsch made his first minutes for Ajax against sc Heerenveen (5-0) on Saturday evening. The Austrian midfielder came in with a 4-0 lead. Due to an injury to Calvin Bassey, he ended up as a center back in the final phase. "I play where the coach needs me."
Ajax maintained our 100% start to the new Eredivisie season with a one-sided victory over sc Heerenveen. Mohammed Kudus claimed a brace of goals with Davy Klaassen, Kenneth Taylor and Brian Brobbey also on target as the defending champions ran out 5-0 winners in our third home game of the 2022/23 campaign.
The Supervisory Board of AFC Ajax NV intend to extend the contract of Edwin van der Sar to 30 June 2025. The intention to extend is in abidance with the applied procedure, because of which the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) can only be renamed for a new term after the General Meeting of Stakeholders (GMS). The GMS will take place November 11th, 2022. Van der Sar’s current term ends November 2023.
