Henderson: 'A mediocre performance'

Jordan Henderson was feeling disappointed following the home fixture against Fortuna Sittard. The captain was not happy with the 2-2 draw. "It wasn't the finest game, just a mediocre performance," Henderson was clear. "Things were tricky and tough after last Thursday's match against Aston Villa."

The Englishman couldn't put his finger on it at first. "We have to analyse the match. We didn't create enough opportunities, but also we should have defended better. It was disappointing that we conceded those goals."

Concentrating on Villa
Henderson underlines once again that Ajax should have played better against Fortuna Sittard. "We just didn't play well. We kept at it, but sadly we just couldn't break through once Brobbey scored. We now have to dust ourselves off and start concentrating on Villa."
