This appointment has been formalized, effective from January 28, 2022, and is valid for a period of three years and ten months, up to and including the General Meeting of Shareholders in November 2025.
Georgette Schlick (Nijmegen, 4 August 1971) was nominated by the Supervisory Board at the SGMS on Friday afternoon and appointed during the meeting. Her appointment on Friday marks an expansion to the Supervisory Board that, in addition to Schlick, consists of Leen Meijaard (chairman), Ernst Ligthart, Peter Mensing and Annette Mosman. Since Danny Blind’s position was vacated, Adrie Koster has been an advisor to the Supervisory Board in the field of football technical matters.
The meeting also announced the intention to reappoint the directors Marc Overmars, Menno Geelen, and Susan Lenderink. Subsequently, the reappointment was ratified by the Supervisory Board for a period that runs until June 30, 2026. These three directors, together with general manager Edwin van der Sar, form the management of Ajax.
