Jurriën Timber has been selected in the squad of the Dutch national team, for the European Championship. Maarten Stekelenburg, Daley Blind, Ryan Gravenberch and Davy Klaassen have also been chosen.
National team manager Frank de Boer has selected 26 players for the European Championship.
On May 29, the group of players will travel to Portugal, where a training camp will be organized. For the Dutch national team, the European Championship starts on June 13 with a game against Ukraine.
The other two opponents in their group are Austria and North Macedonia. The Netherlands will face Scotland and Georgia in two friendly matches in the run-up to the European Championship.

Ajax staff have chosen Ryan Gravenberch as Talent of the Year. The midfielder - who turned nineteen yesterday – was presented with the Marco van Basten Award as a result of his selection.
Ajax and Maarten Stekelenburg have reached an agreement for the extension of his contract, which ran until June 30, 2021. The goalkeeper's contract will be extended by one year and now runs until June 30, 2022.
