Once the final teams qualified for the main draw on Tuesday and Wednesday evening, all 32 teams participating in the 2022/2023 Champions League season became known. Thanks to their 36th league title, Ajax was already assured of a ticket.

Group 1
Coach Alfred Schreuder's team is in group 1 in the draw and will therefore avoid FC Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, FC Porto, AC Milan and Eintracht Frankfurt.

The first group matches are scheduled for 6 and 7 September. In addition, teams from the same countries cannot meet and Russian teams are excluded from participation. The schedule of play is as follows.
