Ajax, Adidas and the Amsterdam-based fashion brand Daily Paper joined forces to create the third jersey. The fans came in high numbers to the unveiling at the Ajax Fanshop in the Johan Cruijff ArenA.
When the doors opened at 10am, there was a huge queue of fans all the way down to Perry Sport. After a short wait, everyone was able to see, try on and get their desired jersey. That made for happy faces, lots of pictures and plenty of happy Ajax fans.
adidas joins forces with Daily Paper for 2022/2023 Ajax third kit
Today, Ajax, adidas and Amsterdam based fashion brand Daily Paper release the 2022/2023 Ajax third kit. The kit celebrates Amsterdam’s unique street football culture and its golden generation, to recognize its impact on the sense of belonging and community in Amsterdam. The predominantly golden jersey features smoky black watermarks of 9 of Amsterdam’s most prominent street football courts. The red and black vertical bar and white Ajax crest and sponsor logos, reflects the colours of the loved city flag. It also mirrors the vertical red bar of the iconic Ajax home jersey.
