Under the leadership of Erik ten Hag Ajax has experienced some fantastic times in the last four years. In this goodbye video for our departing manager we have collected various legendary evenings and matches. From the UEFA Champions League adventure in 2019 through to the debut of youth players such as Ryan Gravenberch or Jurriën Timber.
Manager Erik ten Hag was disappointed not to have won his last match with Ajax. "We made two crucial errors in the second half. An ultimately they led to our downfall. The championship match against sc Heerenveen was Ajax trainer, Erik ten Hag's last home game. The match in which Ajax won the 36th national title and Ten Hag celebrated his third championship as trainer of the Amsterdam team. We followed him and captured in these great images.
Ajax concluded the season with a draw in Arnhem. Brian Brobbey put the Ajax team in the lead, but Openda scored twice early on in the second half. An Edson Álvarez header moved the scoreboard to 2-2 in the final stages of the match.
