Henrique was born on July 31, 1997, in Santos, Brazil. The Brazil international came through the youth academy at Santos and made his professional debut in 2016 for Atlético Madrid in Spain, who subsequently loaned him out to Brazilian clubs Paraná, Fluminense and Grêmio. In August 2020, the full-back completed a permanent move to AS Monaco, where he became a key player over several seasons and made more than 200 appearances.
