Ajax Women will be unable to call upon Ranneke Derks for a long period. The winger suffered a serious knee injury during the pre-season friendly against Anderlecht.
The 18-year-old Derks joined Ajax from PSV in the summer of 2025. She made her official debut on September 11, 2025 in the UEFA Women's Europa Cup qualifying match against Sturm Graz.
Since then, the Ajax player has featured in 23 competitive matches, ten of them as a starter. During that time, she scored six goals and provided two assists.

Ajax have reached an agreement with Sari Kees regarding the transfer of the 25-year-old defender to Ajax. Kees joins on a free transfer from Leicester City and has signed a contract in Amsterdam that runs until June 30, 2029.
