Ajax Women to face WFC Aktobe in UEFA Women’s Europa Cup

Ajax Women will face WFC Aktobe from Kazakhstan in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup, following Friday’s draw. Ajax Women will play the first leg in Amsterdam on 23 September, before travelling to the distant city of Aqtöbe for the return leg on 30 September.

Ajax Women were beaten by Real Madrid over two legs in the UEFA Women’s Champions League play-offs. The Spanish side won 2-0 in Amsterdam, before Ajax were also defeated in Madrid, 2-1. Ajax Women will now compete in the Women’s Europa Cup.
