This win means Ajax retain their top spot in the Eredivisie. Wednesday night will see Ajax's final game of this calendar year against Willem II in Tilburg.
Coach Erik ten Hag: "This is how we should be approaching games: with lots of concentration. We had a good formation on the pitch with lots of movement. The difference could be seen in the second half however. It seems that it wasn't as simple as it looked in the first half. In the second half we played one percent less and ADO were able to exploit that. We shouldn't let this happen."
