Ajax's third pre-season friendly, against VfL Bochum, will be broadcast live on Wednesday via Ajax's official channels. Kick-off at the club's training ground, de Toekomst, is at 17:00. You can watch the match live in the Ajax App, on Ajax.nl and on Ajax's YouTube channel.
The match will be available worldwide, except in Germany, Israel and Brazil.
First pre-season win
Ajax recorded their first pre-season victory last Friday. The Amsterdam-based team beat Cypriot side AEK Larnaca 1-0 in Hulshorst, with Abdellah Ouazane scoring the only goal of the game.
Later in pre-season, Ajax will also face Olympiacos, Burnley FC and FC Volendam.
Ajax and Olympia have reached an agreement to extend their partnership until at least 2029. The employment agency will therefore remain an official partner and the main sponsor of the Ajax Academy. Olympia will also continue as the title partner of the Olympia Future Cup and remain visible on the back of the Ajax first team's shirt. The extension underlines both parties' shared ambition to develop talent, create opportunities and make a positive social impact together.
Abdellah Ouazane scored the winner in the 84th minute as Ajax secured a victory over AEK Larnaca in a pre-season friendly. Míchel Sánchez's side produced a strong performance, but had to wait more than eighty minutes before turning their dominance into a goal.
Alberto Garrido Martinez and Juanvi Peinado Fernández have been Míchel Sánchez's assistant coaches since this season. The friendly Spaniards have stood out during the training camp in Garderen. On the one hand, because of their tremendous enthusiasm and boundless energy on the touchline, but also because of their smiles and kindness on and off the pitch.
