Ajax has reached an agreement with Sophie te Brake on the defender's transfer to the club. Te Brake has signed a contract in Amsterdam that runs until June 30, 2028.

Te Brake (Groenlo, February 25, 2003) came through the youth academy at FC Twente. She made her professional debut in October 2021 and went on to make 95 official appearances for the Enschede-based club across five seasons.

The match will be played on Wednesday, August 5. Should the Amsterdam side win, they will play the winner of Slavia Prague - Rangers WFC on Saturday, August 8. The tournament is organized by the Scottish club Rangers WFC in Glasgow.
