Ajax has signed Luuk Beekman. The 18-year-old defender has put pen to paper on a contract running until June 30, 2029. It marks the first professional deal for the defender.

Beekman (Amsterdam, September 13, 2007) has been part of the Ajax youth academy since 2018, having joined from partner club AFC. The youth international made his official professional debut for Jong Ajax on February 6, 2026 in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie clash with De Graafschap. Next season, Beekman will be part of the Ajax U23 squad.

Director of Football Marijn Beuker: "Luuk is a ball-playing defender who can operate both at right-back and in central defence. He has a fantastic character and the ability to keep developing and improving. In short, these are qualities that can take him a long way. Luuk is also an Ajacied through and through. Since joining the academy, he has made strong progress. We are confident he will continue that development with Ajax U23."
