Ajax, Sankt Pauli and Jakov Medić have reached an agreement on the transfer of the defender to Ajax. The Croat signed a contract that lasts until June 30, 2028.

Medić (September 7, 1998, Zagreb, Croatia) has been playing at Sankt Pauli since 2021, a club that plays in the second division Bundesliga. In Germany, the former Croatian youth international also played for 1. FC Nürnberg and Wehen Wiesbaden. The contract of the 24-year-old at Sankt Pauli ran until 2024.
