Rulli was born on May 20, 1992, in La Plata, Argentine, and is in possession of an Italian passport. He made his debut for the Argentinian club Estudiantes in 2013, where he followed the youth academy. Thereafter, he played for Real Sociedad and Montpellier, before signing his contract at Villarreal. Together with Villarreal, he won the UEFA Europa League in 2021.
Rulli is an Argentine international and was the reserve goalkeeper for the Argentinian team in 2022, with whom he won the World Cup.
