Magallán (La Plata, September 27, 1993) made his transfer from Boca Juniors in January 2019. The Argentine made his debut for Ajax 1 during the KNVB Cup final against sc Heerenveen (3-1). In total, the defender played nine official matches for Ajax their first team.
Together with Ajax 1, Magallán won the Eredivisie Championship and the KNVB Cup in 2019. In that same year, he also won the Johan Cruyff Shield. During previous seasons, the Argentine went on loan to RSC Anderlecht in Belgium, the Italian F.C. Crotone, and in 2019/2020 to Deportivo Alavés in Spain.
Ajax and Fluminense FC reach agreement on Giovanni Manson Ribeiro
Ajax has reached an agreement with Giovanni Manson Ribeiro and Fluminense FC on a transfer to the Brazilian club. The transfer of the 20-year-old midfielder is effective immediately. Manson Ribeiro’s contract at Ajax ran till July 30, 2024.
