Ajax lost the Klassieker on Sunday afternoon. At Feyenoord, John van 't Schip's Ajacieden lost 6-0. The score at half-time was 3-0.

After a calm opening phase, Feyenoord player Igor Paixão opened the score in the 34th minute. Shortly after that, Yakunba Minteh doubled the lead. David Hancko increased the lead to three goals in the first half's extra time. Minteh, Quinten Timber and Paixão scored in the second half, ending the match in a 6-0 loss for Ajax.
