Ajax loans Lisandro Magallán to Anderlecht

Ajax and RSC Anderlecht have reached an agreement for the loan of Lisandro Magallán to the Belgian club. The loan is effective immediately and lasts until June 30, 2022. In the agreement there is also a purchase option for RSC Anderlecht. Magallán's contract with Ajax runs until the summer of 2023.

Magallán (born in La Plata, September 27, 1993) joined Ajax from Boca Juniors in January 2019. The Argentinian made his debut for the Ajax first team on January 24, 2019 during a cup match against sc Heerenveen: 3-1. So far, the defender has played seven official matches for Ajax.

As a member of the first team, Magallán was an Eredivisie champion in 2019 and won the Dutch Cup. He also won the Johan Cruijff Shield that year. Last season, the Argentinian was loaned out to the Italian club, FC Crotone, and in 2019/2020 to Deportivo Alavés from Spain.
