WhatsApp Channels is a brand-new feature on the popular messaging platform. This feature, recently introduced in the Netherlands, allows you to receive quick updates. Since this week, Ajax has a WhatsApp channel, which means you can automatically receive updates from the Amsterdam-based club.
Via Channels, WhatsApp users get updates like messages, links to information, photos, or videos. The latest news is shown in a different app tab, under 'Updates'. Unlike personal chats, you can’t react to messages in this new function. However, you can leave emojis and see which messages generate the most response.
