Snoeijs (Amsterdam, August 31, 1996) began her professional career at Telstar. She then played for VV Alkmaar and PSV before moving abroad in the summer of 2020. She signed for Girondins de Bordeaux, competing in the top tier of French football. After two seasons, the 38-cap Netherlands international joined Everton, where she played in the Women's Super League. In total, Snoeijs spent four seasons with the English club.

Ajax Women's Technical Manager Dolf Roks: "We are delighted that Katja is joining our squad. She is a technically gifted player with a real eye for the goal. It's no coincidence that she has already earned 38 caps for the Netherlands. Katja is an experienced player who knows what it takes to perform at the highest level and can help guide our younger players. We are confident she will be a valuable addition to our team."
