Ajax have been drawn to play FC Union Berlin in the UEFA Europa League knockout round play-offs. Such was the outcome of Monday afternoon's draw. The Amsterdam team will face FC Union Berlin on 16 and 23 February 2023.
All third-ranked teams from the UEFA Champions League, including Ajax, play in a knockout round against a runner-up from the group stage of the Europa League. The winners from these play-offs go through to the round of 16 in this second-tier competition for club football.
Ajax will face FC Union Berlin at home on 16 February at 18:45. The away leg follows just one week later, on 23 February, 2023 in Berlin. This match starts at 21:00.
