Ajax and Jurriën Timber have reached an agreement for the extension of his contract, that originally ran until June 30, 2024. The new contract of the 21-year-old defender runs until June 30, 2025.

Timber (Utrecht, June 17, 2001) joined the club’s youth academy in 2014. On the 7th of March, 2020, Timber made his official debut in the first team against sc Heerenveen: 1-3.

The Dutch international played 76 games so far and scored four goals.
