Ajax and FC Copenhagen have reached an agreement for the transfer of Mohamed Daramy to Ajax. No formal agreement has yet been reached with the nineteen-year-old striker, who can play in multiple positions. The clubs have agreed a transfer fee of EUR 12 million, with the possibility of the amount increasing to EUR 13 million through variables.
Daramy was born on 7 January 2002 in Hvidovre, Denmark and is a Danish youth international.
The new shirt, which is inspired by the song 'Three Little Birds' by Bob Marley and in which Ajax will play the European away matches this season, is sold out at Ajax. The black shirt with red, yellow and green accents was officially launched by Ajax and adidas worldwide on Friday morning.
Today, Ajax and adidas, in collaboration with the Bob Marley family release the 2021/2022 Ajax third kit. The kit is a tribute to the Ajax fans and the love shared by the club and its fans for reggae legend Bob Marley and his iconic song, Three Little Birds. The black kit features red, yellow and green details. On the back of the jersey, just below the collar, it features a subtle reference to the iconic song, with three little birds sitting on Amsterdam’s Andreas crosses. The kit will be worn in this season’s European matches, alongside Ajax’ home kit.
