Ajax and De Graafschap reach agreement on Donny Warmerdam

Ajax have reached an agreement with Donny Warmerdam and De Graafschap on the direct transfer of the midfielder to the first-division club. Warmerdam’s contract at Ajax ran until June 30, 2024.

Donny Warmerdam (Sassenheim, January 2, 2002) played in Ajax’s youth academy since 2010 and was part of Ajax U23. The 21-year-old midfielder made his debut in professional football on August 30, 2020, in the match Ajax U23 - Roda JC: 0-4. Warmerdam made 83 appearances in which he scored five times.
