Ajax and Atlético Madrid reach agreement on Jano Monserrate

Ajax and Atlético Madrid have reached an agreement on the immediate transfer of Jano Monserrate. The 20-year-old midfielder has signed a four-year contract in Amsterdam, running until June 30, 2030. Monserrate will join the Ajax U23 squad with immediate effect.

Monserrate (January 28, 2006, Zaragoza, Spain) began his career at Real Zaragoza and is a Spanish youth international. The midfielder joined Atlético Madrid's U19 side midway through the 2024/2025 season. In the Spanish capital, he established himself as a regular for the club's reserve team. On January 31, 2026, he made his first-team debut for Atlético Madrid in the league match against Levante UD.
