Ajax U19 will compete in the UEFA Youth League via the Champions League path, sharing the same group as the first team for the first six matchdays. The youth team will therefore play six matches, while the first team plays eight. The top 22 teams advance to the knockout stage.
The draw has revealed that Ajax will play at home against Inter, Benfica, Olympiakos, and Galatasaray, and away against Chelsea, Villarreal CF, Olympique Marseille, and FK Qarabağ. The schedule for the six Youth League matches will be announced on Saturday, August 30.
