The Ajax Women secured their place among the last sixteen on Thursday evening after a 2–1 victory, qualifying for the main tournament of the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup. The draw held last Friday revealed that they will face Swedish side Hammarby IF in the Round of 16.

Ajax will kick off the two-legged tie with a home match on Wednesday, November 12, at 7:30 PM at Sportpark De Toekomst. The return leg in Sweden is scheduled for Thursday, November 20, at 7:00 PM.
