Weerden started playing football at SC Buitenboys and CTO Amsterdam and transferred to Ajax in the summer of 2022. She debuted on August 18, 2022, in the UEFA Women's Champions League qualifying round against Kristianstads.
In those two seasons, Weerden played 52 matches in the white-red-white. She scored four times, including the 1-1 during the first official Klassieker in the Johan Cruijff ArenA on March 4, 2023. Weerden started in 24 matches in the last season.
