Thomas Vermaelen played six seasons in Ajax's first team. After playing football in England, Italy, Spain, and Japan, the defender now resides in London with his family. "Ajax and Arsenal were my favorite teams as a child. It's quite coincidental that I ended up playing for those clubs."
