The Ajax players arrived on the pitch in good spirits. On Saturday, they recorded a 2–0 win away at NAC, thanks in part to an excellent goal from Mika Godts.

The day after King's Day, attention quickly turned to PSV – the next opponent in the VriendenLoterij Eredivisie. Against the team from Eindhoven, Ajax will continue their pursuit of a UEFA Champions League spot on Saturday evening at the Johan Cruijff ArenA.

Ajax are currently fourth, but are keen to climb the table in the final three matches of the season. "We have to realise what is at stake," García already pointed out.

At De Toekomst, fans were treated to a varied training session. First, small-sided possession games were played in front of the well-filled stands. This was followed by a finishing drill, where players had to beat an opponent.

The session ended with a small-sided match on just under half a pitch, after which García called it a day after around 45 minutes. However, the day wasn’t over for the players, as fans still had the opportunity to take photos and collect autographs.
