After six years at Ajax, Rosa van Gool is taking the next step in her career. She is leaving Ajax Women to join English side Everton. "I've learned so much during my time at Ajax, and I’m incredibly grateful to the club for that," she said. "But I’m also really excited to be making my dreams come true in England."
After a disappointing season, Ajax Women arrived in Estoril, Portugal, to take part in the World Sevens Football tournament. This newly launched international competition features a different format from regular matches: teams consist of seven players and games last two halves of fifteen minutes. We followed the Ajax side during their debut at the tournament.
Ajax will bid farewell to five players of Ajax Women this summer: Inessa Kaagman, Quinty Sabajo, Roos van der Veen, Bente Jansen, and Dionne van der Wal. Their expiring contracts will not be renewed and will officially come to an end on 30 June 2025.
