Urby Emanuelson added to staff Ajax U23

Urby Emanuelson will be added to the staff of Ajax U23. The former Ajax player will be Dave Vos's assistant coach this season. Emanuelson signed a contract starting immediately, which will run until June 30, 2025.

Emanuelson (Amsterdam, June 16, 1986) followed Ajax's youth academy and played 172 matches for the club between 2004 and 2011. After his career in Amsterdam, he played for AC Milan, Fulham, Hellas Verona and FC Utrecht. In the summer of 2022, Emanuelson was added as an assistant coach to the staff of FC Utrecht. Last season, he was also part of the Ajax amateurs football team.

At Ajax, Emanuelson will become the second assistant after the earlier-appointed Yuri Rose. This makes the technical staff of Ajax U23 complete.
