Brobbey played a key role in Eindhoven on Sunday. He was battered after a duel with PSV’s Obispo and moments later scored the opening goal with a last effort to get onto a cross from Dusan Tadic. Immediately afterwards, Danilo was already ready to replace him.
"It is very annoying that I will have to be sidelined for the foreseeable future", Brobbey said. "I was in good form, finding the goal well. It is now important for me to do everything I can to come back even stronger soon.”
The 19-year-old Brobbey returned to Ajax on loan this month. He has scored three times in two league matches.
