Preparations for the new season are in full swing. On Tuesday morning, the Ajacieden made their way to the training pitch again to prepare for their first friendly against PEC Zwolle on Friday.
During the training camp at Wageningse Berg, Ajax will play two friendly matches. On Thursday, July 18th, the Amsterdam-based team will face Al-Wasl FC from Dubai, and a day later, on Friday, July 19th, Olympiakos will be the opponent. Both matches will be broadcast live and can be seen on Ziggo Sport in the Netherlands.
On Friday morning, Ajax coach Francesco Farioli welcomed Anton Gaaei, Sivert Mannsverk, Benjamin Tahirovic, Kristian Hlynsson, and Christian Rasmussen to the training pitch. The players had a longer vacation due to international matches after the previous season but also started their preparation this week.
On Wednesday, the Ajax squad made their way to the training field for a tactical training session. Francesco Farioli's team was divided into two groups to focus on tactical details in preparation for the new season. Our photographer was there.
