Training session ahead of Eredivisie climax

The climax of the Eredivisie season is fast approaching. This Sunday sees matchday 32, with Ajax hosting NEC at the Johan Cruijff ArenA. Just three and seven days later, the team will also face FC Groningen (away) and FC Twente (home).

After two matches without a win, Ajax will be aiming to get back on track against NEC. In the build-up to the encounter with the Nijmegen side, several training sessions are scheduled – including one on Tuesday at the de Toekomst training ground. Our photographer was on hand to capture the action.

He also spotted a group of Italian coaches observing the session from the sidelines. These coaches are currently working towards obtaining their official coaching qualifications. Among them was Marek Hamsik, the former Napoli midfielder.
