Ajax are in Italy. The squad and support team boarded the plane to Naples Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday evening heralds the clash with Napoli in the groups round of the UEFA Champions League. After losing at home to the Italians, the team has something to put right at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
Tuesday started with a training session at their home training ground. Our in-house photographer trailed the squad throughout the whole day; from training in Amsterdam, then to Schiphol and finally the press conference in Naples.
