This season, the Ajax player joined the prestigious 'Club of 100' during the match against her former club, sc Heerenveen. In total, Hoekstra made 114 official appearances with the Ajax badge on her chest. She scored 49 goals in those matches, earning her a place in the top five all-time leading goalscorers for the Amsterdam club.

Honours
During her professional career, Hoekstra managed to win several trophies. In the 2022/2023 season, she became a league champion with Ajax. The Amsterdam side held off FC Twente by just a single point, securing the third league title in the history of Ajax Women.

Her first trophy with Ajax came a year earlier, during her debut season in Amsterdam. On 18 April 2022, Ajax defeated PSV 2-1 in the final of the KNVB Cup. She added another cup to her tally in the 2023/2024 season, this time after a 3-1 victory over Fortuna Sittard. That win secured the sixth KNVB Cup in the club's history.

Historic Goal
In the 2023/2024 season, Hoekstra made European history with Ajax. In the Johan Cruijff ArenA, the forward scored the 1-0 against Paris Saint-Germain – Ajax's first-ever goal in the UEFA Women's Champions League. "That was perhaps one of the most beautiful moments of my life. I've always dreamed of playing in the Champions League, and to be the one to score the first-ever goal for my club Ajax… there's nothing more special than that", Hoekstra said later in an interview.

On Saturday, 17 May, the forward will play her final Eredivisie match, against Excelsior. After that, her last games as a professional footballer will take place during the World Sevens Football tournament in Estoril, Portugal. Ajax will participate in this international 7-a-side tournament from 21 to 23 May and face Bayern Munich, Manchester City, and FC Rosengård in the group stage. A semi-final and (consolation) final may follow.

Over the course of her career, Hoekstra played more than 290 matches and scored over 115 goals.
