Ten Hag: "I have seen some masterful and compelling football"

Erik ten Hag was delighted with his team's performance after Ajax beat ADO Den Haag 5-0. "I think we played very well. We want to play masterful and compelling football, and that is what I saw today. Maarten Stekelenburg hardly had anything to do, either."

By half-time it was already 4-0 at the Johan Cruijff ArenA. "In the second half, a few new players came onto the pitch. After which, we sometimes lacked finesse. But I really enjoyed the first half especially."

In the end, everyone also came off uninjured, much to Ten Hag's delight. "There will be another hectic calendar come April. This is no time to let up on the pressure. We will still train hard with the players still here during the international break. I told them in the dressing room: 'Super April is coming, make sure you're ready'."
