"In front of the home fans is the best feeling, but it's also nice to score away," laughed the 21-year-old Ajax player. "The shot was deliberately through the goalie's legs. You know the keeper will try to make himself big when he comes out."

The Ajax player replayed the goal in his head. "I was able to play the ball straight through to Brian Brobbey when it was headed back. I struck it well, which meant we could play on immediately. Then Brian gave it back nicely. It's also his goal a little bit."

In the end, Ajax gave much less away against FC Utrecht than in the recent matches in the Eredivisie and UEFA Conference League. However, Ajax didn't create a huge number of opportunities. "Sometimes you feel like you're forward without enough support. I didn't have that feeling today," said Taylor. "In any case, Brian and I find each other easily."
