Substitutes help Ajax to win against Willem II

Ajax have won their game against Willem II with a 3-1 scoreline. It took the home side until after the break to start pulling away from the visitors from Tilburg. Davy Klaassen opened the scoring just over fifty minutes into game time. After an equaliser from Willem II, Ajax managed to get two more goals over the line from substitutes Brian Brobbey and Dusan Tadic.

For Erik ten Hag, this was a well-deserved win. "We created two or three good chances in the first half. If one of those finally would have gone in, things would have been a lot easier for ourselves."

In the end it was substitute Brian Brobbey who scored Ajax's second goal of the game after only being on the pitch for 55 seconds. 'It went by really quickly. He had the exact effect that we wanted.
