Sivert Mannsverk joins Sparta Prague on loan

Ajax, Sivert Mannsverk, and Sparta Prague have reached an agreement on the loan of the midfielder to the Czech club. The loan is for one season and runs until June 30, 2026. The agreement includes an option to buy. In Amsterdam, the 23-year-old Norwegian’s contract runs until June 30, 2028.

Mannsverk (May 8, 2002, Øvre Årdal, Norway) joined Ajax in the summer of 2023 from Molde FK. The Norway youth international made his debut for Ajax on September 17 of that year in the away match against FC Twente: 3-1. So far, he has played eighteen matches for the first team.

Alex Kroes: "Sivert is a true professional and it is important for him to get back to playing regularly. Here, that prospect is limited due to the competition in midfield. This temporary move to AC Sparta Prague is therefore a good outcome for all parties. We will be following his development closely and wish him every success in the Czech Republic."
