Mannsverk (May 8, 2002, Øvre Årdal, Norway) joined Ajax in the summer of 2023 from Norwegian club Molde FK. The Norwegian made his debut on September 17 of that year during the match FC Twente - Ajax, which ended 3-1. So far, Mannsverk has played 18 official matches for Ajax's first team.
Technical director Alex Kroes said: "Sivert has been sidelined for an extended period due to injury and has therefore had limited playing opportunities with us. On top of that, he faces strong competition in his position. It’s in everyone's best interest for him to get significant playing time in the coming period. At Cardiff, that opportunity is available, making this temporary move a good solution for all parties at this time. We wish Sivert the best of luck."
