Provisional fixture list: first big clash in September in Eindhoven

Ajax will play their first major clash against one of the traditional top three sides on Sunday, September 21. PSV will be the opponents in Eindhoven, with kick-off at 14:30. On Wednesday morning, the KNVB announced the provisional fixture list for the 2025/2026 VriendenLoterij Eredivisie season.

It was already announced on Tuesday that Ajax will kick off the season at the Johan Cruijff ArenA against Telstar. The first Klassieker is scheduled for the weekend of December 12-14, when Ajax will host Feyenoord. The final matchday before the winter break falls in the weekend of December 19-21, with Ajax travelling to NEC. After the winter break, Ajax will face Telstar in Velsen-Zuid during the weekend of January 9-11.

This provisional league schedule has been coordinated with all professional football clubs and will be finalised on Monday June 23.
