The jersey is a tribute to the 750th anniversary of the city of Amsterdam. A pennant is featured as detail in the top back of the jersey, with Amsterdam’s founding year 1275, anniversary year 2025 and the city's iconic three St. Andrew's crosses highlighted. In addition, the crosses were used to create a stand-out graphic pattern in the red lane of the jersey.
The jersey has subtle black details, as further reference to the three colors of the Amsterdam flag. The city's black, white and red is also the design inspiration for the club’s new training wear range.
New in 2025/2026 is that the club's championship stars are only visible on the jerseys, as worn by players and as available to fans. All other products and club communication will feature the crest without stars.
The new home kit and training wear range can be purchased now in the Ajax web shop, and in the Official Ajax Fan Shops in the ArenA, Kalverstraat and Bataviastad, the adidas Stores in the Kalverstraat and Mall of the Netherlands, on adidas.nl and at selected retailers.
