Naci Ünüvar extends contract

Ajax and Naci Ünüvar have reached an agreement for a new contract for the 19-year-old. His previous deal ran until June 30, 2023. The attacking midfielder's new contract runs until June 30, 2026. Ünüvar is part of the first team since the preparation for the new season. He gets the chance to prove himself in the first team.

Ünüvar was born on June 13, 2003 in Zaandam. He joined Ajax's youth academy in 2011 and made his debut in the first team on January 22, 2020 in the cup match between Ajax and SV Spakenburg (7-0). He scored a goal in that game. So far, Ünüvar has played three matches in Ajax's main squad. "My goal is to succeed at Ajax, that has never changed. Now I can take the final steps."
