Hedwiges Maduro led the group of Ajax 1 players during the training session at sports complex De Toekomst. For the coming period, the 38-year-old succeeds Maurice Steijn, who left recently.

Due to Steijn's departure and Maduro's new role, Dave Vos will temporarily take on the role of assistant coach of the first team. Yuri Rose will lead the Ajax U23 team during the match against Roda JC on Friday.
