Lucas Ocampos returns to Sevilla FC

Ajax, Sevilla FC and Lucas Ariel Ocampos have reached an agreement on the return of the player to the Spanish club. The Argentine joined Ajax on a loan base this summer. The loan ran for one season, until June 30, 2023, with an option to purchase. That agreement comes to an early end.

Ocampos (Quilmes, July 11, 1994) played for River Plate’s youth before leaving South America in 2012. Before the Argentinian international signed his contract at Sevilla FC in 2019, he played for AC Milan, Genoa, Olympique Marseille, and Monaco in Europe. Ocampos made his debut for Ajax 1 on September 3, 2022, during Ajax – SC Cambuur (4-0). In total, he made six official appearances for Ajax.
