After four years at Ajax, Lotte Keukelaar is heading to Spain. Real Madrid is the next destination for the pacey winger, who has been part of the Ajax Women's first team since the 2023/2024 season.

Keukelaar was born on 25 September 2005 and played her youth football in Vleuten, at PVCV. In 2021 she moved to Amsterdam and joined the Talent Team. Her debut for Ajax Women came on 15 September 2023 away to Excelsior. The Amsterdammers won 1-3 thanks to a hat-trick from Romée Leuchter.

In 2024 Keukelaar won the KNVB Cup with Ajax and during her final season she was voted Talent of the Year. In the 2024/2025 season Keukelaar was involved in eighteen goals. She scored five times and provided thirteen assists, the most of any Ajax player. In total, Keukelaar played 55 matches for Ajax Women, scoring eight goals.
